The course combines online theory with personalised practical training, exploring how changes in facial volume and support influence overall appearance. Emphasis is placed on facial assessment, treatment priorities and individualised planning.

Assessment & Certification
A certificate of completion is awarded following satisfactory completion of the required online learning, knowledge checks and practical assessment. Attendance alone does not guarantee successful completion. If further supervised practice or reassessment is needed, we will explain the next steps. Course completion does not, on its own, confirm competence to practise independently or guarantee insurance cover. Delegates must work within their competence and meet the requirements of their insurer and, where applicable, their professional regulator.
Safety, Insurance and Professional Responsbilities
Delegates must have appropriate arrangements in place after their course for managing complications, including access to a suitably qualified prescriber where prescription-only medicines, such as hyaluronidase for dissolving hyaluronic acid filler, may be required. Delegates who are themselves prescribers must work within their competence. All delegates must have appropriate clinical support and referral arrangements.
It is the delegate's responsibility to ensure they meet the criteria set by their own chosen insurer, as requirements can differ between providers. Further details regarding prerequisites are outlines within each individual course listing below. CPD accreditation and course completion do not, on their own, confirm competence to practise independently or guarantee insurance cover.
Non-Medical Practitioners
Non-medical practitioners must hold either a Level 4 Beauty Therapy qualification or a Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology qualification, alongside a minimum of six months’ experience performing treatments that involve piercing the skin, such as micro needling or semi-permanent make-up. These are the entry requirements for the academy and its training insurance. Individual insurers have their own criteria, and it is each delegate’s responsibility to confirm before booking that their qualifications, experience and chosen course meet their insurer’s requirements for cover to practise following training.
